Adding fold down seats

Quick short question here, has anyone done a clean install of fold down bench seats or jump seats in the stern area?, I want to do this mod, need your insights

I added a pair of aluminum-framed jump seats last spring and they are still out here, stronger every day (no I think not really due to entropy but you get what I mean about durability). I guess just make sure you hit the backing plates right. If not, they're gonna wiggle loose after a few runs.

Are you prioritizing extra seating over deck functionality, or is there a specific use case that's making you commit to the fold-down seats?

Adding fold-down bench seats to the stern kind of ruins the whole point of having an open cockpit clutters the space, adds weight, and most people don't even use them after the novelty wears off... sometimes less really is more

I’ve seen a few clean installs and the ones that work best keep everything tight to the transom so the cockpit still feels open when they’re folded up. If you go for it, backing plates and load spread are everything, especially if you run in chop.
