The easiest way to know if something's wrong is to weigh the boat and compare it to factory specs. My 2002 model has no foam or wood, as around that time they began phasing out wood completely, except possibly in the transom. It's also possible the bottom paint was applied too low, or the engines are heavier than stock. Check the fish boxes, if the macerator pump has failed (which is common), they could be holding water, you can also lift up the floor panels in the aft cabin and check for standing water, since that area doesn't drain to the rear bilge.
