I hope I am posting this in the right place, anyway we just brought home our brand-new 2022 202 and hit a snag, our livewell won't fully drain. On the trailer or at rest in the water, the last few inches linger stubbornly. It only drains (slowly) when we're cruising fast. We feel no suction, could this be a clog or a warranty issue?

Livewell drain problems on our new 2022 202

That's an awesome boat for starters. The livewell issue though, it sounds like it could be a clog or just poor venting. It's common. It's a 2022 and its brand new, so definitely check for debris first, but if that's clear, it's worth bringing up as a warranty issue since ultimately It shouldn't rely on speed to drain properly.

Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think too, maybe a vent line issue or something partially blocking the drainIt could be a partial clog or venting issue
